The V profile is the standard for metal press fittings: copper, stainless steel and carbon steel. Viega Profipress and Prestabo, VSH Sudopress, Sanha and many others press with V. V and M are not interchangeable.

The V profile is in all three sets: Standard (32 kN), Compact (19 kN) and Standard Mini (15 kN). Which one you need depends on your press tool, not on the fitting. Each set has 1 press jaw and 19 inserts (TH, V, U and M), from €345, free shipping in the EU. The UP profile is an optional add-on (+€50).
